I think in a way it makes us more appreciative of our children as they grow and um... get a temper and drive us crazy. :-) But my child would never do that.
Great post.Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15484607337052505871noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7852456697006944257.post-9203969648621626902009-11-19T11:47:03.604-05:002009-11-19T11:47:03.604-05:00Totally get this and totally agree! When we finalized, there was a family waiting with us to finalize with out judge, our attorney, our social worker and our agency. The little boy being adopted was pretty close to the same age as Riley- but a little older. Looking at him made me feel so strange... I couldn't help but consider the possibility that HIS birth parents had chosen US before Riley's had. It totally freaked me out!!! I know in my heart that I would have loved any little one that we were blessed to have in our home, however, I can't help but feel that this little girl is perfect for us. God put her in our home and our hearts knowing full well what he was doing.

It is nice and strange to think about how all that we have gone through led us here... and although it was pretty grueling going through it, we look back with thanks for the experience.

How great is that? I mean, seriously!!Brihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15827049920771791750noreply@blogger.com
