Glimmers of Hope
I've been longing to see our SW's name in my inbox for over two months now, and it finally happened yesterday! I'm not in any way getting my hopes up, because...well, we all know where that can lead. Still, it is nice to know there are birth mothers working with our agency! And you never know when/how the one is going to come along. So...we will be shown early next week. Part of me would like to get excited but I just can't right now...I can't risk getting my hopes up again for what could be just another round of false hope. That said, I feel like any news is good news for me right now. I just needed to hear something, to know that there is still a chance of hope on the way.

Melba ~ you don't have to have hope right now....we will all have it for you. I know the disappointment that comes with not being chosen, but these opportunities are what bring us closer to our children. And like you said ~ you NEVER know when it will be your turn! I will pray for this situation and I will carry your hope for you. Thinking of you and praying.... :)

that is good to hear from the SW and know that there is activity out there! I agree its hard not to get your hopes up but it is so good just to hear something! keeping you in my thoughts for early next week!

I am hoping for the best. It's good to know that they're working for you. I sometimes suspected that we were totally forgotten by our agency.
